Read detailed guidelines, tips, and tricks in the Guide for Artists section.
Static Model
Please make sure to upload 2 versions of STL files for static model: a single STL file version and a split-into-pieces STL file version. This is required because many customers are looking for a budget variant of 3D model for printing. When split into several pieces, the 3D model uses less support at 3D printing, and thus the cost of the 3D model’s printing is smaller.
Assembly Models
Upload the assembled 3D model in OBJ file format. Our moderator will check the assembly plugs for the assembly 3D model and will confirm its accuracy. If, however, the assembly model needs to be improved, we will send you an email with detailed instructions on what you need to pay attention to.
Item Promo Materials
The promo materials will also pass moderation. We will watermark them. Provide both render pictures and photos of the actual 3D printed model. This will increase credibility for the printability of the model.
Item Description
We do write descriptions for the 3D models that are uploaded without any text by our contributing authors. However, we encourage you to write some interesting details about your 3D model. For more information about how to write an item description, please read these guidelines.
Item Price
We recommend the following price for the 3D models as follows:
- Static 3D model - up to $24.99
- Assembly 3D model - up to $29.99
All prices set by the artists are subject to modification. We reserve the right to adjust the price in accordance with the 3D model’s features.
Item Support
Once your 3D model goes live, you will be obliged to check, from time to time, the item’s comments section and to answer the questions asked by those who purchase the item.
It can also happen that we will send you an email with an item support question, which you must answer in due time, in order to ensure that the customer receives the best assistance.
