The price of a 3D printing service greatly depends on many factors but mainly on your location, the material you want to have you chosen 3D printing model printed with and its size.
On each model's page on gambody.com, there are several different versions of the STL files available in the tab 'Source files' that are adapted for different types of 3D printers: for FFF/FDM, DLP/SLA and SLS printing technologies. All the mentioned versions of your chosen 3D printing model become available to you immediately after you purchase the model. Read more about the difference in all the available versions here. You have to decide which technology of 3D printing will better fit your goals:
- The better quality of printing, especially with small details, can be achieved if your model is printed in resin, using the DLP/SLA technology or in polypropylene using SLS technology (but since SLS 3D printing technology is mainly used in industrial production, we won't take it into consideration). Resin is quite expensive, that's why those versions of our 3D printing models which are optimized for DLP/SLA technology are usually smaller in size. The price for an average 3D printing model circa 150mm tall can be around $200. You can increase the model's scale, but that will be even more expensive. And you can consider decreasing the model's scale to keep the costs down.
- FFF/FDM technology (using PLA or ABS material) is more affordable and recommended size for FFF/FDM models is normally significantly bigger than for DLP/SLA versions. You can also see default (recommended) size in the "Description" tab on the model's page. Depending on your location and the size of the model, the prices normally range between $30 and $80. The best quality material for FFF/FDM printing is PLA.
