Can I switch my "Customer" type account to the "Author"?

The thing is when a "Customer" type account has already had a certain history, especially if it contains orders then there is no way to either delete it or change its status from "Customer" to "Author" or to transfer the purchased 3D printing models to the other account. The order the customer places is getting bound to a database and removing this order will cause confusion in the statistics, seller commission etc.

The “Author” type of account has a different principle of work, allowing authors to upload their designs to our marketplace and get payouts. Because of this essential difference, switching from one type of account to the other using the same email address is impossible. If you would like to sell STL files of 3D models on Gambody you will have to create a new account “As an Author” using a different email address.

Only if it happens that a user creates a new account by mistake and doesn't use it in any way then there is no problem to make any changes in it. In such a case, please, contact our Customer Support Department at [e-mail] who will assist you in doing that.
